Thinking about my hospital bag

Ok only 23 weeks but was just having a wee think about what to put in. How many of each thing (ie babygros vests bibs etc) should I pack? Baby will be born in November, will he need one of those snow suit things to come home in, or will heavy clothes and cardigans be enough? Any extras that people have take that wouldn't necessarily be thought of? Any advice appreciated thanks :)

My DS was born at the beginning of December and he came home in a snow suit. Try not to buy one though - we were given 6 (including the one he came home in)! - and he only came home in it because it was snowing! and we were a bit nuts
I'd take 3 vests and 3 babygros plus something to go home in - assuming you'll be in the car then a cardigan plus a blanket will be fine. We bought one of these here which was great throughout the winter and meant we didn't need a blanket.
And my single best bit of hospital bag advice - take 2 packets of babywipes; one for the baby and one for you to use as toilet paper. You will thank me!

Ha pottering, I bought the old lady moist toilet tissue :-D
Snow suits are might difficult to get baby in a car seat in. I'm getting a car seat foot muff so baby can wear normal clothes inside it!
My tip is to put extras in boot of car- more clothes, pads etc so your partner can bring them in when needed (my DH took washing home too as I was in for 5 days). The bedside lockers etc are really small so you can't fit too much in.
