Hi,

just wondering if anyone can recommend any slings or wraps? I'd like to get one that i can wear round with house (having twins so think will be v useful!), something comfy for mum and baby?

I like the look of the one that are just like a big piece of material wrapped around body. Anyone got any experience of these? How easy are they to use?

I have a moby and love it but I would recommend going to a sling meet or finding someone to show you how to use it. I watched every YouTube video that exists but didn't feel confident till a friend showed me. Good luck!

I am the only person it seems who didn't like their moby. Its OK until you have to put the blardy thing on standing outside and half of it ends up in a puddle. Also I really didn't like it after the first 3 months just couldn't get comfy. Got a beco gemini - much better imo :)

I have a "je porte mon bébé" and I love it! It's a stretchy wrap so may not last long. I hear the stretchy ones tend to give too much with bigger babies.

Dd is 10 weeks and she's always been happy in it. Wraps are great as they are very versatile, loads of positions to carry baby/ies. Think its a bit pricey though compared to others. Lots of videos on their website to help you.

I have a boba stretchy wrap, costs about £40.

I like it because it is very soft but also supportive - it was a specific recommendation from our local sling library lady as DS was a tiny preemie. Takes a bit of practice learning how to put it on and insert baby, but I got the hang of it fairly quickly - definitely get it demonstrated by someone!

Have you got a sling library or sling meet near you? You could try some out?
