Hi, is there a pre-eclampsia thread anywhere still around? I had early, severe pe with a very tragic ending in my first pregnancy in 2009 (DD1 died). DD2 was born healthy after a normal pregnancy 18 months later. I am far enough on with DD3 to be at risk again now .... and anxious. Poor uterine artery doppler result at 21 weeks yesterday (high resistance in one artery). Is anyone else in this position?

Not sure where the other thread is. It got a bit quiet I think.

Sorry for your tragic lossSad

I had severe early PET with DD1 and am 38+5 with DD2 now. I have been closely monitored. I had raised resistance on both of the uterine arteries, and have had a stressful pregnancy because of previous experience. I was thrilled to make it to full term but now just want her out before anything kicks off. My BP has been borderline for a while but they decided to put me on meds last week to try and get me to 39 weeks, when they will deliver. I have no proteinuria and my bloods are fine so this time, it's just PIH at the moment. I am being induced on Tuesday, but as its attempt at VBAC, I'll be monitored closely and only allowed to trial for do long.

I know of lots of people who have been fine in subsequent pregnancies, after a traumatic first time. Hope you continue well and are able to relax, and even enjoy, the rest of your pregnancy, although I know how hard that isSmile

Hi Jules, so sorry about your first daughter, and having to worry about DC3. I had PE with DS but we got to 34 weeks before delivery and he was ok. I'm now nearly 6 weeks pg with DC2 and already worrying about what's going to happen. I posted on the old thread a little while ago. The link is here. They were really helpful!
