I had te disease as a child, then as a teen I had the vaccine, before I had ds I had the blood test and I had immunity then, that was 7 years ago, I should be fine surely? I just had a phonecall from school, they know I'm pregnant and someone has just been diagnosed with rubella today. My kids are both vaccinated so I should be fine.

You really really should be with all that, very similar to me - have you had booking bloods yet? You could call the docs to be sure and perhaps get the test early. I imagine it's been diagnosed by a doctor via a test? It's just that there's a lot of slapped cheek disease about and the two have similar symptoms. when testing for immunity for slapped cheek (only if suspicion of exposure) they test for rubella as well unless not done.

Oh yes, sorry if you've had immunity test before you're fine.
