Dizzy spells in early pregnancy

Am 6 weeks today and have been suffering from dizzy spells. The head rush type when I get up, or more too quickly. Everything goes fuzzy (quite literally see stars) for 5ish seconds, and then it slowly clears and I'm normal again.

Had it quite badly at 4weeks but we were somewhere hot and so I put it down to that, but had another bad episode this morning. Very nearly fainted.

I'm eating enough I think (mainly carbs since they're the only thing which keep the nausea at bay, but enough calories I think). Prob not drinking as much as usual (only want Pepsi Max and feel so guilty I try not to drink it) - I normally quaff water constantly, but don't really want it. But I reckon I'm still drinking enough...

Didn't get this with DD. I fainted once at 35 weeks pregnant but that was after I had to commute standing on a packed train into London in (a hot) July. I've lighter than I was when first pregnant with her but not a lot (57kg vs 62kg) and am not underweight (am 5 foot 6-ish).

I have low blood pressure normally.

Reading through this, this sounds bad right? Anything I can do / stop doing? Should I worry?

I also have low blood pressure and dizzy spells think they go hand in hand :(

Had 16 wk MW appointment last week and she said just try not to get up too quickly and keep up the fluids that's the most important thing, and to eat little and often.

Hope this helps

Thanks - can try that. Hard when it's still a big secret!!

As long as it's nothing too serious that's good.

I had this-I thought it was quite normal in early pregnancy as blood pressure drops. But I'm no expert...
