Overdue with last 2 pregnancies will 3rd b early?

anyone been overdue with last pregnancy but early/on time with last one? 5 years since I last had a baby but really not looking forward to thecwaitibg game of being overdue again .

I was 2 weeks late with dd2
1 week late with dd2 and.......

1 week and 1 day late with dd3 (also after a gap of 5 years - well 6 actually). She was born at 3 am so only just in to the 41+1 territory. I've never met anybody who has been overdue before and then birthed before due date next time round.

BTw - I've had three dcs and my friend has had three. She was 4 weeks early, 2 weeks early and on time. I was a total of 4 weeks late. That means she has been pregnant for 10 weeks less than me!!!! How can that possibly be fair right?

All 3 of mine were 7 days late.

I had dd1 day before due date, dd2 at 41 +2 and dd3 at 38 + 4! So you never know! I'm hoping dc4 is like dd3......

the average due date is actually 41+3 - how late was late?

My first was 42 weeks Plurgh ! And my 2nd was 42+ 5 oh I really don't want to b late again I'm so uncomfortable as it is! Oh well at least I have more time to pack my bag (still not started)

I was ten days early with dd, yesterday asked mw if she thought I'd be early again and she said it is likely. Said that babies 'tend' to follow similar pattern in terms of arrival time

I was 2 days over with DS1 and 6 days over with DS2 hoping that dc3 doesn't follow pattern and be even later but I'm not holding my breath!

Overdue all 3 times as well, sorry. 11 days, 7 days and 5 days so at least they got shorter each time. With DS1 and 3 I had acupuncture to bring on labour so not sure how much longer I might have gone if not! I wanted DS3 to be born early as DS1 and 2 both born on last day of month and I wanted DS3 to be the same and make a set. No chance! Good luck!

Lol mine were dd1 7 days dd2 5 days so maybe dd3 3 days ? Ha ha I was booked in for an induction with dd1 then it was cancelled due to 7/7 she came on her own accord on the 9th so I no they will arrive eventually but I'm not feeling well jus lately and got loads to do still! Thanks tho good to see they get quicker and quicker !
