Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask!!

Who is a reasonable insurance company who will insure you for travel while pregnant. My annual policy will not cover my trip as I return at 26+1 and so the entire policy is null and void. Useful!!

Any ideas?!

My insurance is with Flexicover and they cover for travel while pregnant. Not v expensive either. They don't cover for childbirth (should that happen while you are away!) but they will cover for costs of any preg-related complications that arise.

I have looked through the policy and they don't seem to set a time limit on how many weeks pregnant you can travel, they just have a general exclusion that says they won't cover if you travelled against medical advice (or what medical advice would have been if you had taken advice). I can't remember what the medical advice is on travelling while pg, I think it's don't fly after 36 weeks or something like that. So as long as you don't do that, I would think this insurance would cover you.

I'm amazed that they don't cover you. My pregnancy spanned two annual policies, one with Virgin and one with M&S. It was not a problem for either, we just rang up and told them I was pregnant. No change to the premium either.

I called them, they will only cover to 26 weeks. I said I'll fly back at 26+1 and they said I wouldn't be covered for the entire trip as I'd be over said date. Not very happy but not much you can do really if you're not covered your not covered! To be honest I'd not even thought about it. I checked the small print there it was! So need some insurance!
