I am currently half way through my 2nd pregnancy, as a working Mum, time is of the essence, I have been recomended The Regenerating Collagen Gel from Collin Resultime as a face and body product to prevent stretchmarks and have a strengthening anti ageing effect. Has anyone else tried this product, and is it as fab as I have heard it is? Or is there any other recomendations from you lovely ladies?

Good old fashioned Palmer's cocoa butter massage cream for Stretch marks worked for me. It doesn't take ages to soak in, unlike Bio-oil which I found I was waiting forever to get dressed / getting oil slicks on my clothes, and was comparatively cheap. I put it on religiously 2 or 3 times a day. My step-sister recommended it to me when it worked for her as well. I found it better to be more generous with a cheaper product, and the lavish it on, than to use a more expensive product more sparingly.

thanks ladies, cant imagine that the Cocoa butter would make a good makeup base, which is why I am drawn to the regenerating collagen gel, as it is for face and body, dont fancy my face slipping off half way through a meeting!! just wandered if any one has tried, will defo give the Cocoa butter a go on the old bod though!!

I havn't tried the Collagen Gel but i have tried the Collin Stretch Mark Concentrate- IT IS AMAZING!
I used it to reduce existing marks (after 3 children) which it did by i would say 60%, and having used it myself i recommended to a expectant mum friend who was also worried about stretch marks and she didnt get any Stretch marks during pregnancy and her existing marks on her hips reduced dramatically too- definitely worth using!

I am so glad you said that, i brought the collagen gel and was also recomended the stretch mark concentrate by the lady in the salon, which being vain and a complete sucker I brought!! Loving both products, will keep an eye on my existing marks and pray I get no new ones over the next 16 weeks. the collagen is fab, using it on my face which has been miraculous (no other word discribes a product, when your husband even comments on your skin!!) But also use it on my bump too. Will keep you posted on the results.
