I am currently lying on the bed with my 2 kids downstairs eating breakfast, I need to get up and iron their clothes, but standing up and moving around makes the nausea much worse! I'm feeling like this all day every day, I'm not sick often but actually I wish I could be sick as I think I would then feel better! I haven't done any housework all weekend and the house is a tip, kids are fed up of my lying around moaning! Hell, even I'm fed up of me lying around moaning!
I think I'm going to the gp today to beg for something to stop the nausea. I'm not eating properly, the only thing I can manage to drink is orange juice or cordial with ice in it. Anything warm is icky.

I know what you mean...since nine weeks I have been overwhelmed with nausea. I am now eleven weeks and have been signed off work. Lying down, getting loads of rest and eating (even though I find it repulsive) are getting me through. I feel that there is light at the end of the tunnel as in my previous pregnancies I started to feel better by 14 weeks. I hope you feel better soon, how many weeks are you (all)?

rogersmellyonthetelly · 02/07/2012 08:38

Almost 8 weeks, not even at the peak yet! I've been like this on and off since I found out at 4 weeks but this last week it's been every
Single day.

I'm really sorry, that's so tough. I have felt sick the entire time too but it got much worse at 9 weeks. I find myself waking up in the night feeling sick and then not being able to get back to sleep. Are your children at school - have you got the chance to rest in the day at all?

Priyamj · 02/07/2012 11:32

hi! so so sorry to hear how you're feeling :( know exactly how you are feeling but you need to somehow stay hydrated!! after all, a hospital visit is the LAST thing you need!
gingerbread etc didnt work for me, i just couldnt keep anything down, i was given Cyclizine for when i was in the hospital for sickness...im hoping you can just buy these OTC in the chemist? there's no harm in trying...hope this helps xx

It is so shit feeling so awful day in and day out. Just hang in there and it will eventually go.

I had awful morning sickness with vomiting from about 6-16 weeks. I felt rough almost every day and puked roughly twice a day for 10 weeks. The constant nausea was worse for me than actually being sick. I didn't have one day off work during it all. I own my own business and couldn't not close my business even when I felt so dreadful.

Like I said, it does pass and you will soon start to feel like a human being again. Hang in there.
