Snotty brown discharge at 33 weeks

Hi,

I'm 33 weeks with my second child, this morning found a brownish snot like discharge in my Knicks. Not lots but enough to worry me. Just after having first child I had a abnormal smear and had loop diathermy treatment which could lead to preterm baby. With this pregnancy I also had brownish spotting at about 8 weeks, just wondering if there is any connection or if it was a little bit of my mucus plug this morning? But not had anymore today. Or is it just normal, I have felt really tired almost like a hangover! :) x

I would call your labour ward / day care assessment and ask for advice, it could be a show.

sounds like a show to me. mine wasnt lots either and my waters never broke until i was in extablished labour.

Was it long from your show until you went into labour? I was induced with my first so didn't experience any shows or waters breaking?

Wow, I think I'll get in touch with my midwife tomorrow just to check everything's ok! Thanks for letting me know, I've been sat worrying about it all day. If its normal or not? :)

I had that when I was 28 weeks with DS. I phoned the hospital and they told me to come in, monitored me overnight and gave me a scan the next day to check everything was ok, which it was. They just put it down to one of those things but it's better to get it checked out just to put your mind at ease Smile
