Sudden urge to have everything ready

I am 33 weeks with dc2. This last week I have suddenly become obsessed with getting everything ready. I have cleaned a lot (very out of character)
But also insisted in buying any bits we need like bottles and even formula.

I know I am being nuts I have loads of time. I wasn't like this with ds, I didn't even buy pushchair until 37 weeks!

Anyone else doing this?

I have this too (only 29 weeks). Told DH I really needed to clean up the freezer. He said 'yes, because that is the first thing the baby will inspect when he/she gets home'! Grin

Welcome to nesting!

I LOVE nesting! I didn't really do it with DS1, but this time, I've been nesting since I hit 5 months Grin

I've started having nesting 'pangs' I'm 27 weeks. I am probably one of the most untidy people ever (drives poor DH mad) but I have started looking at things and thinking 'I really should clean/tidy/move that'. I've not actually hit the stage where I've been motivated to do anything yet tho :) Think DH is really hoping for it to kick in during school hols :)

SO today someone gave us loads of clothes. But this made me realise we have nowhere to store them- we needs drawers for her! This has led to mass panic that there isn't enough space in DS's room for them to share.

So I have had massive clear out and made dh order new storage furniture.

I have cleaned the oven, de-cluttered the hallway cupboard, cleaned the windows, de-jumbled DS1's bedroom... Blush

I'm 26 weeks and I'm obsessed with buying all the stuff and I know there is ages to go. Cleaning urges haven't started yet though!

32 weeks here and nearly there - not because i'm amazingly organised - I got some bits and mum/dad and sisters got me loads which was great so the essentials shopping v low stress.

Glad I did start the clearing out/bit of tidying early ish as feeling v tired these days. Had a lot of building work done at the house I wish we'd done sooner so my advice - don't be too shy getting stuff sorted early if you feel up to it :). Happy nesting!

Ah nesting, I went slightly crazy, and did a massive declutter, major cleaning spree, rearranged the whole house and repainted the hallway!
plz dont go as crazy as I did, I practically slept for 3 days after!

I'm 39 weeks and was hoping I would nest, but sadly, no. I never have the urge normally, so I was a bit shallow thinking pregnancy might be a bit different! Oh well..
