Hello

I am preg with my 3rd DC. 17 weeks today. Have had 2 MC's while trying for number 3. Maybe because of this I'm panicking about a lot of stuff. But I thought that by 17 weeks I would have felt the baby move. Heard HB at midwife appt on Monday, but now am convinced my baby has died :( Have a private sexing scan tomorrow and am petrified to go.

Please try not to worry, it can be 21-22 weeks even before you feel anything, and it all depends on how the baby is lying too. I'm sure that tomorrow you will get all the reassurance you need, so you must go. Congratulations by the way, and good luck!

Hi

I am nearly 20 weeks with #4 and I barely feel any kicks. At my scan today I found out that my placenta is anterior and can act as a bit of a duvet. Please don't worry.

Good luck x

Am on number four and no distinct movements till 19/20 weeks. Try not to worry. Relax and go fr your scan will most probably put your mind at ease.

Good luck.

I felt no movement with either of my two DC until after week 20. Both fine. I can totally understand why you're worrying though, after what you've been through x

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 29/06/2012 22:53

Sorry to hear about your mmc.

I'm 22 weeks with ds3 and I can barely feel him and it's because my placenta is anterior (at the front).

I know it's very hard not to worry as I've also had two mmc, but at least you'll have your scan tomorrow which will hopefully put your kind at rest.

Best of luck x

Thank you for such kind messages everyone.
I'm just in a panic all the time. Don't like to talk about it in RL because I hate to moan.

Have been trying to think positive, and will go along tomorrow and just hope for everything to be ok.

Thanks again. I'll update, I promise.

Smile

Try not to worry. I suspect you have a anterior placenta as others have mentioned.

Up until today I havent felt any movements (21 weeks) and was majorly frekaing out as with my other 2 I think I was about 17 weeks. I was trying to be rational (am a midwife too so should know better) but thought the worst until my anomoly scan. Placenta = anterior Grin

How comes you're having a sexing scan privately? DO they not tell you at anomoly scan?

Tell me to cock off if i'm being too nosy btw Wink

SleepyCaz · 30/06/2012 21:20

Hi everyone.

Had scan today. Everything looks fine, and we are having a little boy Grin

They had a difficult time with the 4D because guess what...? My placenta is at the front!

Thank you all for your reassurance Smile

BTW We had the sexing scan done because we're impatient - and because we have a boy and girl already and only bedrooms. So one will need some rearranging Grin
