Has anyone had a baby in Belgium (Flemish part)

Thinking of having mine there if all goes well (good care, low CS rate etc). Just wondered if there were any major differences in procedures, how much choice they give you, attitudes etc.

Any tips appreciated!

Thanks Belgianbun,

That was my hunch, that it's better, as work abroad in a developing country and have to come back to Europe to have the baby, have health insurance etc and thought of Belgium because I have relatives there. I'm a bit scared of the NHS after friends have told me horror stories of lack of care due to understaffing. Independent midwife sounds good too, and so do the epidurals Grin. Anyway thanks for your advice!
