Does anyone else feel more crazily in love with their DH/DP now they're pregnant?

I loved him anyway of course but am just feeling even more so, keep wanting to go into raptures about how much he means to me all the time - perhaps it's part of the emotional side of pregnancy?

Not like we're even really DTD (sorry TMI!) But I think he's gorgeous and marvel at him like some sort of God at the moment - if only he could read this! :)

Yes, but only because I was so ill with Hyperemisis in both pg, and was v impressed at how he looked after me and kept everything together, specially second time when there was a 2 yo in the mix too

no, definitely not. Mine has become really REALLY annoying.

Spice17 · 29/06/2012 15:43

Plus he cleaned the bathroom before work yesterday morning (it was disgusting) but my feel hurt so much after work I just can't be arsed to do it

Nope. Altho from experience i love him in labour. But currently he just irratates me lol x

gardenpixies32 · 29/06/2012 15:47

My DP irritates me too. He has been kicked into the spare room. He is really good and tries to do loads to make me happy but I want my space and him out my way. When I am done cooking our twins I may have change of heart.

minipie · 29/06/2012 15:52

I go through phases - sometimes I think he's amazing and wonderful and gorgeous and get all gushy about how much I love him, and other times I'm really grumpy with him. Hopefully these even each other out Grin though I suspect the poor chap doesn't know whether he's coming or going.

Bubbless · 29/06/2012 15:58

i hate my DP now that im pregnant- especially when he ignores me when i blabber at him (also, suffering with hyperemesis so at home all day on my todd) about how ill i am.. he helped get me in the situation!
i hope my feelings for him come back :S

sammyleh · 29/06/2012 16:12

Absolutely! Mine is so good to me, at first he didn't understand and just got frustrated which made me dislike him a bit, but he's been reading up over the past few months on what's happening to my body, why I act the way I do and really getting involved. He's amazing and looks after me so much and he's going to be an amazing dad. Just the way he's so excited and keep reassuring me how much of a good mum I'm going to be is awesome, its really strengthened our already strong relationship :)

RightBuggerforit · 29/06/2012 17:43

Yeah, i feel the same OP. My dh is amazing anyway, lol. I think you should show him your post. :-)

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 29/06/2012 20:23

Yes me!

Dh is wonderful and like you I keep thinking how hot fab he is and how much I love him and our lives together. He's so supportive, even when I'm freaking out about my changing body he makes me feel good about myself. Wouldn't be without him :)

chickensaregreen · 29/06/2012 20:30

Currently. No. He just annoys me with his annoyingness! But it comes and goes in love and annoyance!

SigningGirl · 29/06/2012 20:32

Mine was really good to start with - reading books and stuff and very happy and loving.

This week (i'm 10 weeks) he is royally getting on my nerves... Been out twice after work (really not a problem)... without bothering to tell me he was going until the very last minute (ie I'm leaving work now and going to the pub, see you at some point) - despite knowing for at least a week about both events.

And of course he has spent the last couple of weeks playing on fantasy football every evening and pretty much ignoring me. I almost hid the laptop the other night...

ARGH

squidkid · 29/06/2012 22:26

Yeah, we've got really close and loving since I got pregnant, and he does loads of stuff for me and worries about me when I'm struggling with work etc. And he compliments me and my bump nonstop even when I'm being annoying and girly and whining about getting big. So I can't stop jumping him (TMI again!)
