Swollen feet??

Is anyone else getting really swollen feet and legs in this hot weather?! I feel like an OAP!

Not pg now but I had this when I was pg last summer. Heat will do that!!!

I went to work one day wearing espadrilles. After a few hours the tops of my feet had swelled so much they were bursting out over the top of my shoes. So I took them off. Big mistake! At lunchtime I couldn't get the bloody things back on. 2 colleagues/friends had to pop to our local high street (and although I'm in London, I don't work near any fancy shops) and buy me some shoes. They came back with a pair of 'mandals' - mens brown sandals with velcro straps. They were cheap in every sense of the word...but sooooo comfy! Very embarrassing on the journey home from work.

That being said, keep an eye out for any bad headaches. I developed high blood pressure at 34 wks and protein in my urine and was diag. with pre-eclampsia. I started having to go in to the Day Assessment Unit 2x a week and at 36 wks they told me to stop work. I ended up having 3 sweeps over a week at 37 wks and was induced at 37+6. had DD 6 days later (failed to dilate after all the pessaries and gels and 24 hrs of forced labour on syntocin and had EMCS). It was a very stressful time and not the 'natural birth' I'd hoped for.

Please keep an eye out for any other symptoms in case its not just the hot weather. Take care...

Yes, my feet swell up like mad when it is only even slightly warm! The left foot more than the right one strangely. It is horrible and I am only 21+3!.
