30 weeks and movement has slowed

So basically what the title says, I'm 30 weeks and 3days pregnant with my first baby, and over past two days I've noticed that movements has reduced. Used to move all the time, was a bit unwell past few days and very nauseas, tried to eat and drink like normal but was impossible at times, hadn't slept great either.

Today I feel much better, have tried the whole eating in case blood sugar is low, and also have had a cold glass of pure orange juice. it does move slightly but not as much as I have experienced previously.

Is there anything else I can try? Should I contact mw? Any advice at all would be great...

I think you'd be best to get checked out by your MW. It's probably nothing to worry about, but better safe than sorry.

loud music and prodding. Or a can of coke - the caffeine would get mine jumping.

I would have it checked out if you're worried. They can run a movement test at the hospital. Not sure what it's called

Have a can/glass of 'proper' coke/pepsi ice cold...if it doesn't get the movement going again it's worth just phoning the MW (before 5pm, so you're not worrying about it overnight)
Is it really hot where you are?

Rachel130690 · 28/06/2012 15:38

It's not really hot, but the sun has come out again after a very crazy amount of rain and thunder and lightening. I'll try the coke them if nothing I'll give them a wee ring. Thanks very much x

Hey Rachel, hope you're now getting booted in the stomach & ribs? Grin

Thanks again to everyone, went to see doc as I've been unwell and he sent me to hosp for movements test and scan and everything's fine, says reduced movement may be down to a bug I've got but to keep a eye on it.

glad to hear it. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

Good to hear, hope you're taking it easy. x

I went in for monitoring with DS at 37wks & the cheeky monkey started a disco the second I was hooked onto the monitor Blush
