I suppose it depends on what age your other children are.

We've spent time going to the zoo (which DS loves!), transport museum and normal museum.

When the weather is good we've gone for long nature walks and to nature reserves.

I spent some time this pregnancy in hospital with hyperemesis so you have my heartfelt empathy regarding the sickness! Am 32 weeks and still taking Cyclizine anti-sickness med daily Confused

To be honest a theme park would have been the last place I would have wanted to spend time when ill.

oh yes i was on cyclizne last time i was pregnant.
im trying to think about what i can eat in advance.
any tips on what you can get down?
how long were you in hospital for?

i normally get sick at 6 weeks, so thats why i fancy a couple of days out before that starts
zoos a good idea.
my dd is 5

I was in hospital for a few days around the 9-10 week mark, and sickness was at it's worse before I was admitted to hospital and put on the meds. Haven't vomited since around week 26, but still feel awful nausea :( With DS's pregnancy I wasn't sick at all! This one has been a killer for me.

It's a good idea to just snack foods. The hospital doctor told me to eat 6 small meals a day rather than 3 big meals. Sometimes I couldn't face a meal at all so just ate toast or dry biscuits.

Everyone is different though, and what made me sick might not impact you.

Congrats on your pregnancy :)

thanks needles, how did you end up in hospital did your gp send you or did you go to a and e?

i had 4 pluese of keatones and my gp sent me home with cyclizine rather than sending me to the hsptal for some iv.
i dont think that was very good care tbh

A bit of both.

Had been very very sick that day, out-of-hours Dr did urine test and told me to go to A&E.

Only expected to be there for a few hours on a drip, but ended up there for 2 overnights getting 5 bags of fluids Confused

The Cyclizine really has helped me, but I've heard some others say it didn't do much for them.

I really hope this pregnancy is smoother for you.
