I was just reading another thread and wondered when you get a BFP from a home pregnancy test... do you get it confirmed at the doctors or just book in to see the midwife at 12 weeks.... or has it all changed since I last conceived nearly 9 years ago...

and no I'm not thinking of having any more [honest]

I don't think you need to get the pregnancy confirmed if you've had a BFP.

ohhhh No No No.... I wasn't asking if I should go and get my pregnancy confirmed... ha ha [not pregnant... not planning to become pregnant]Smile

it just seemed that the nowdays action was to go to the doctors and get it confirmed.... when a home test already said yes...

at what stage do you see the midwife these days...

with my first 2 the dr confirmed it and I saw the midwife at about 10 weeks this time I didnt even get to see a dr the nurse said oh great I'll send you an appointment for your 12 week scan saw midwife for first time at 16 weeks for history and booking bloods personally I think this is rubbish as I bleed alot in early pregnancy and have had an mc but this didnt seem to bother them at all
