how many units in half a shandy?

Half a unit, if it's bitter or standard strength lager (carling, fosters etc not Stella/1664 which are stronger)

A few weeks ago I bought a couple of cans of that Bass Shandy which is less than 0.5% or something. Not quite the same as the real deal but did enjoy it ice cold :)

You can work out the units in an alcoholic drink by multiplying the volume in litres by the %ABV so for example half a pint of shandy (being 0.24 litres of half and half 5% lager and lemonade) is 0.12 litres x 5 = 0.6 units.
