Just wanted to recommend this book as a really good read for first time mums (and second timers who fancy a good giggle) I found it a welcome light relief from the slightly twee, occasionly depressing (particularly the photos of women in maternity clothing which seem not to have been updated since 1989) and frequently unrealistic standard pregnancy books on offer. It's quite graphic in places, and a lot of it relates to the us birth system rather than the uk but I found it very useful

I've read it too, it has useful info but is written in a very human style and good for a laugh.

I've read it too, and found it a funny, light hearted read. It is quite American, so some of it not relevant at all, but funny nonetheless.

Laugh out loud is all I can say. There are two others as well just as good.
