Kicks - a bit of reassurance anyone?

I'm 24 weeks. Baby is normally very active. Today I've felt less kicks. If I have a poke I can get him to move, but not as much as previous days.

I'm thinking 24 weeks is early for there to really be a pattern. And I don't need to worry. Does that make sense?

Will have a cold drink and see...

My MW told me as you get bigger (I'm 31 wks now) that if things get a bit quiet try and do something that triggers movement, either a bath, can of coke etc. whatever works for you. You might have to try a few things but I find sugary stuff makes bubs go a bit buts :)

I had days with lots of kicks and other days with very little. 3 months ago I gave birth to a very health baby boy! Good luck x

Thanks. The cold water hasn't triggered much. He usually has a wriggle when I go to bed, so hopefully that will work.

I've had days like this (I'm 28+6) baby may be facing inwards so you don't feel the movement as easily? Sometimes it feels like I'm being kicked in the fanjo! If you've got the same tomorrow give your mw a call though.

Thanks all. Just to update I had plenty of movement when I went to bed, and some already today. I guess the pattern is just changing. I have a scan anyway today for a specific problem he has, so I'll be able to get some reassurance.
