got my Bugaboo today and built it up following the instructions

everything seems ok but not sure if its working properly or not.

when unfolding it i press in the 2 white buttons and the bar goes up and it clicks into place, then i kick out the bit with the swivel wheels like the instructions say and it goes unto 4 wheels but it doesnt click into place is it ment to? If i lift the handle bar the front wheels comes backwards is this right?

Obviously when i put on the carry cot it stays in place but just wanted to know if my pram is broke or this is normal?
should have payed more attention when the shop assistant showed me Blush

That's normal, it's the seat unit being attatched that stops that happeneing iyswim.

Agree with fuckity, that's normal. Enjoy as I love my bugaboo Smile

thank you ladies :) i feel very silly asking a question that is probably so obvious to you bugaboo owners just would hate if i spent that much on a pram that was broke.
Thank you thank you thank you :)

I struggled opening and closing mine at first, there are good videos online if your still struggling. I was fine after the first few times.

I think there is a little knack with them, and once your used to it they are really easy!

I've used the bugaboo with my 3 boys & honestly can't remember - how sad!! I think it was different with all 3 & until it just felt natural to have them sitting as they were wanting to see around them more. You'll know! The best bit is that you can have them facing you, when you do use the seat.

Most people find by 5 months that their baby wants to look around rather than at the sky!

Ds is 12 weeks but incredibly strong and long. We've just changed to the seat unit, fully reclined, and he's much happier. He just wouldn't settle in the pramm part when out and about, I think if anything, it doesn't give the same soothing motion the sling or the Phil and teddy does. We used the carrycot instead of a Moses basket for a good 8 weeks though so we've definitely had our moneys worth.

Teds! Damn phone

I haven't used mine in 5 years- i guess I better get practising!

I remember having trouble closing it once when in a busy car park- I got so stressed I almost started crying- I couldn't go anywhere until id folded it up as it needed to get in the car. I must have been there for 20 odd mins before I figured it out- lol. (i soon got to grips with it after that)

A year later I saw another poor soul in the same car park having the same prob- I helped her out- she was so grateful.

The bugaboo is great and easy to use (once you get the hang of it!)

We used the carrycot for 6 months. He's now over a year but tbh could still squeeze in if ever needed. It's one of the larger ones on the market
