At week 16 I told mw I was in pain with hips. She basically said tough - go pay for private physio. At 34 weeks she decided I looked to be struggling so said she would refer me. I finally felt some relief that I might get some help. Today 35+2 I received a letter from my mw spelling my name wrong and telling me to take cocodamol (which I'm allergic to) and if the pain gets worse then they'll refer me.
Now really upset as i've suffered for five months, now can hardly walk and during the night could cry with the pain. I don't really know how bad it has to be before they will help or how much worse the pain can get.

Go to your doctor ans ask for the referal. Poor you, your midwife sounds usless.
We can self refer in our health board so lucky but they are a bit usless so not so lucky

Oh my gosh that's awful sounds like you have SPD.

I would go see my Gp and get them to refer me or ring the supervisor of midwifes and make a complaint.
