Stupid question i know but ive bled twice this week, last saturday and today, both after long journeys (driving to and back from mid france). They were both bright red, no more than probably a tablespoons worth and only lasted about an hour.

This is my 2nd pregnancy, i had a huge bleed with no obvious cause at 21 weeks with DD (went to hospital) but no early bleeding.

Ive had no cramping and my symptoms (sickness and tiredness) are still here.

Do i need to tell GP? I am under the impression they dont really do anything for early bleeds but have no experience so am stuck.

Thanks

How far along are you? I'd be tempted to phone my MW just so they have it on record tbh?

I had a tiny, tiny bleed at 25 weeks and phoned the midwife for reassurance - they admitted me overnight for monitoring so I would say yes, do something. I think mine was to do with low-lying placenta receiving a hefty kick from DD.

Sorry, im only about 10 weeks

My notes say anything before 16 weeks to see GP.

I had early bleeds and was called in for a scan each time. I would say call the maternity unit at your local hospital, or local midwives, and ask their advice.

should say I had early tiny^ bleeds - less than you describe.

All was fine btw. Hope it is for you too.

I'd pop to your gp or mw tomorrow just to get checked out, personally.

Definitely worth double checking with GP. I had very small bleed at 9 wks and mine sent me to EPU for early scan. It was really reassuring to know that everything was okay.

Hope everything is fine for you.
