Does anyone know if uk anti-D contains thiomersal/thimerosal?

Or indeed ever has done?

Having done a bit of research into anti-d I see there has been a bit of controversy around this mercury-based preservative and links to autism. I know there is also the whole issue around vaccines such as the MMR but looking for someone that knows about anti-D specifically.

Thanks in advance!

There is no evidence against mmr, that doctor was struck off over that particular very dangerous debacle, I'm sorry that just really upsets me that the myth is still out there and people not vaccinating are putting everyone else's children at risk (sorry I'll stop now)

I'm not sure re anti-d. I was concerned about it for other reasons (mainly it being a blood product with a risk of transfusion reaction), I insisted my husband was tested to be absolutely sure it was necessary, if you're baby's father is also rhesus negative you don't need the jabs at all, unfortunately my hubby is positive, but I now know it's absolutely necessary, also in my mind just weigh up the risks your baby having a serious risk of death (proven) vs unproven ?risk over autism?, probably just call the foetal health unit at the hospital and ask them
