I already posted a topic in childbirth but didnt really get any answers and im starting to really worry theres something wrong with me..
Im 38 weeks pregnant and i decided after my midwife wouldnt check to see if i could check my own cervix.

I managed to find it straight away and im only.1cm but what concerns me is how low my cervix is. Its literally right at the entrance! Is this normal?? I always here how painful it is being examined and the midwifes look like they are going in up to their elbows on tv checkin the cervix :-\
Is the fact thats its so so low have anythin to do with labor being near or should i phone midwife and tell her... I apologise if im posting in wrong section but im desperate for any advice. Thanks for reading

From what ive read on the internet you can still go into labor if the cervix is high but i cant really find anything on a low cervix and what it means.. Im so so ready to have this baby :-( x
