Help! Sex drive out of control

hi, this is my 3rd pregnancy and although my sex drive increased a little with my first, I went off sex completely during my second.
I'm about 12 weeks and am feeling constantly aroused and my dreams are becoming really vivid too. Last night I dreamt about having sex with a colleague and am going to struggle looking him in the eye at work next week!

I feel like I am constantly aroused and even if I have sex I want it again immediately. It's actually getting me down as it's become annoying and uncomfortable.
I have 3 and 1 year old DC to look after and work 3 days a week so I don't want it to start interfering with the rest of my life.
Has anyone else had this? What did you do? What can I do to stop it? It's not like I'm not busy and haven't got anything else to think about!

It's a mix of hormones and increased blood flow to your fanjo. I found it went up and down; there's not much you can really do about it except indulge it and/or try to ignore it! And feel sorry for most men who live their whole lives like this!

I have no advice But you're not alone, lost it completely with my first 2 babies (although that was with ex and he is a nob) this time though I can't get enough of DP I wish he was one of these men who are supposed to have unsustainable sex drives! Grin

Thanks for letting me know it's not just me! Was far easier with no sex drive, last time.
Have to chuckle at the idea of 'indulging'. My poor DC would be starving, unclean and neglected and I would've been at it for a week solid if my body had anything to do with it! Grin
So I guess it's ignore, ignore, ignore.

While waiting for it to go back to normal.

This happened to me in March when I was about 10 weeks, I also went off it completely with DD1 and then had it slightly with DS but this time was crazy. I would make the most of it, well as much as you can when it's like is and for your DH! I had completely gone off it buy 21 weeks and the desperate stage only last about 6 weeks. I am now 26 weeks and the opposite, even if I want to my body is really unresponsive to the point of it being sore which is really frustrating. It is all part of the joys of pregnancy so I'd just go with it!

I have had same "problem". Whatever you do don't do what I did and distract yourself by reading 50 Shades of Grey. Dear God....I have been entertaining notions of just having the baby stay in our room and turning the nursery into my very own Red Room of Pain Blush.

Belchica - your post has really made me laugh. Everyone I know is raving about these books but I haven't even looked at the cover as I need the literary equivalent of a cold shower, not more encouragement!
Retromum - I'm praying my 'problem' doesn't last as long as 6 weeks although I'm sorry you're experiencing the opposite now. Bloody pregnancy hormones!

I've got fifty shades of grey and no bleeding partner to take out my frustrations on!!! Rabbit never been used so much Blush

I'm 10 weeks but was very horny when pregnant with other dc's. Ex DH thought it was amazing!!
