Sudden swelling- should I worry?

Hi

I'm 36+3 and suddenly my feet and ankles are very swollen. This came on yesterday and hasn't really improved. Earlier today my hands were also noticeably swollen but they have gone down now.

Had my urine and blood pressure checked two days ago and it was fine.

Don't know whether this is something I should bother mw with or not? It's hot, I'm huge, have been doing a lot of walking around so I reckon it's probably just to be expected.

You need to have your bp checked as soon as possible. Please call your midwife.

As Nadia says you need to have your BP checked. It would be less worrying if your feet/ankles had gone down over night when it's not hot and you haven't been on them all day, but would still need to be checked. As someone who had severe pre-eclampsia last time round and very little swelling, please go and get checked.
