Its a mixture of emotions for me today. I love what I do and the people I work with so just wanted a little reassurance that I'll forget all about it once I walk out of the door tonight!

I haven't finished yet but am thinking the same. Other people sometimes tcan't wait to go on ML either for health or just to get out and I don't feel like that - love my job as well!

I'm sure it's good to rest up a bit first and once our LOs here we'll feel different. Good luck :)

hello bonnyone it is also my last day today and im feeling quite guilty about leaving even though i know i shouldnt. Im 35 weeks tommorow how far along are you? i work with elderly people and jus left one upset that im going i felt so bad but i will pass by and see them and take baby to visit when she is here. I do a part time cleaning job 5 days a week which i will continue until due date as i share it with my mum and partner so i dont have to do too much but it will be really strange being off. I also feel a bit insecure especially as i will only recieve smp after 6 weeks. I have two older children 6 and 4 and it will be nice to do things with them after school and i have 2 cupboards which are screaming at me to tidy them so hoping my nesting instinct will kick in very soon !

It was my last day yesterday, at home with my toddler today - much harder work! It was much wierder the first time going home with nothing to do, as I'd never not worked, and didn't have a little one to look after, so I felt a bit odd about it. It was only a week til dd arrived though, then I didn't give work a second thought! I'm hoping for the same this time, I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and massive and fed up already, so if baby decides to arrive a week early like his sister that'd be fine by me!! Good luck. xx

Binnyone - give it a couple of days next week, you need to wind down to really appreciate having the time off. Honestly once the baby is here you will look back fondly to these days (not saying having the baby is bad, quite the opposite :) ) as they will be the LAST days of your life where you do not have to think about anyone else but yourself.

Enjoy, sleep on the sofa, read crap magazines, go for coffee and cake, do stupid housework, watch day time tv, read trash novels, etc, etc, etc. Oh and sleeeeeeeeeep!

Thank you so much Hellobear! You are absolutely right and I will definitely take your advice xx Smile
