Nursery pictures

Not sure where to post this but hope it is ok here!

Started to think a bit about the nursery for our baby - it is quite a simple little room and planning to have white furniture and yellow curtains.

I don't think we will go for a particular 'theme', and we don't know if it is a boy or girl, but I would quite like a few nice things for the walls.

Does anyone have any good tips for shops where they might have this? Could go for framed pictures or wall stickers, and considering either neutral or bright primary colours. Really can't think of any good shops for this.

We bought these Eric Carle prints www.amazon.co.uk/Eric-Carle-Decorative-Prints/dp/0811867242/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340282515&sr=8-1 They are strong, quality card, and only about £15 for loads of them- not just V Hungry Caterpillar but lots of great animals, numbers, alphabet etc. We put them in nice but cheap ikea frames. They look fab.

my tips is dress it for a small child not a baby, they're only babies for 5 mins then toddlers for ages so make it more childish than babyish (e.g. hungry catapillar/gruffalo better than teddy bears) or else you'll be wanting to change it before you know it as it just wont really suit them once they are toddlers

and wall stickers are great because they're cheap an easily changed. IMO bright primary colours last longer than babyish pastels
