weird 'popping' feeling?

I'm 39+2 and just had a very strange 'popping' sensation inside my bump. DH had his hand on my bump at the time and so also felt it as well as saw my belly jump upwards. DH is being logical and saying he thinks it's a pocket of gas in my intestines that had been stuck in a part that got squished, and which suddenly got free. I'm being optimistic and am hoping that this is in some way connected to impending labour Wink The LO was moving like crazy at the time (and is still fairly active) and I also got a lot of sharp shooting pains in my groin immediately after. So has anyone else ever experienced similar?

When I went into Labour last July I was straightening my hair and bent down to take the plug out of the wall and 'POP' - that is what I heard and that is definately what I felt. But no water or anything so I went and sat on the loo and then slosh a bit came out!!! It turn out I had ruptured my waters toward the back at the top of the sac and depending on how I moved water would slogh out a bit at a time.....is it anything like this do you think???

I'm hoping! Also went and sat down on the loo hoping some water might come gushing but nowt. It almost felt like a kind of 'explosion' inside my belly - not felt anything like that before. Maybe I'll wake up absolutely soaked from my waters tonight? I can hope anyway Wink

Good luck DizzyKipper . When mine went POP it felt like an explosion so it could be likely. I was 41+3 when mine finally went. Fingers crossed for you. Will you keep me posted??? Grin

DizzyKipper · 19/06/2012 20:37

Yes I definitely will do Grin Can tell I'm not going to get to sleep tonight with all the excitement and hoping for things to happen.
