Hiya, I'm 14 weeks and feel the same way. I'm not sure what is fat right now and what is the start of a bump. At least now I don't feel so paranoid about having a podgy tummy, i'll just pass it off as baby :)

Paddocks1 · 18/06/2012 15:39

Lol yes that's what i've been doing. I cant wait for it to start rounding off so i actually look pregnant!

...won't be until about 5 months. You just look chubby until then. I'm 33 weeks now and starting to get huge. Have fun Grin

Mine popped up out of nowhere one night when I was about 24/25 weeks. Wear tight tops - it will look more like a bump and less like podge that way. If you wear loose tops you can still just look fat :)

I don't know. In my experience some ladies get a bump whilst others just get fat. I'm unfortunately one of the latter and am still trying to figure out why most of my baby weight sits on my bum and thighsSad.

Feeling the same here . Im a 16/18 and I'm now 20 weeks and I just feel sooooo fat !! I've noticed in the last few days though my belly is starting to harden a bit so hopefully in the next few weeks I will start to look pregnant .

What I would love to know is when I have a big bump , where does the fat go ???Grin

I'm size 10 and 15 weeks, and have always had a little jelly belly, only now I cant hold it in like I used too. Also noticed between my hip bones has filled out a bit.

hamncheese · 18/06/2012 16:44

Waves to west !

Yep, 5 months, especially if you had your own food bump prior like me Wink

Beans1977 · 18/06/2012 16:44

I'm a size 14 and am 26 weeks pregnant with my first. The first time anyone except DH commented on it was at 18 weeks. And then it totally popped out at about 21 weeks and now according to my hairdresser I am 'absolutely massive.' No, I won't be going back!

chipsandmushypeas · 18/06/2012 16:45

I'm 13 weeks and have a definite round bump which people are commenting on, I'm a size 6/8 so maybe it shows quicker

Paddocks1 · 18/06/2012 16:47

That's what i've noticed i can't hold my stomach in at all these days! Some people have said ooo it's really popped out now and i'm thinking, No it hasn't i just look bloated!
Also are wearing ''hold me in'' pants OK when pregnant? Obviously i'm not hoping for a miracle just to smooth out the lumps and bumps really - i have a wedding in a couple of weeks and fretting!

I'm 22 weeks and it depends on what I wear as to whether I look pregnant at all or just a bit pot bellied (which I NEVER was before). I can still suck it in but it's becoming uncomfortable to do that.
For people who really know me they can tell once they've been told. For people that don't know me they are rather shocked and can't believe it.
Judging by the ligament pain I think I will probably 'pop' any day now.
The 'bump watch' at work is starting to nark me off and give me a complex so I'm just wearing baggy stuff.
