10 and a half weeks pregnant and still waiting for my 12 week scan date

Title says it all :) Shall I call them or am I being very impatient.

Give them a call, it can't hurt - I only got a week's notice with mine, though!

I had same concern back in January - I eventually phoned hospital about mine as had not heard anything. Was told the date and time and also that a letter with appointment had been sent out to my community midwife. Received the letter 2 days before appointment - it was dated over a month earlier!!

Thanks for your replies. Called them and was told that they're very busy and my referal is being processed. Hopefully it won't take to long.

Call them again on Friday if you still haven't heard from them, I don't think that would be unreasonable. My friend received her letter 4 days after her scan was due - the actual letter was actually dated the day before the scan was due to take place! So she missed her scan and they penalised her for it making her wait another 3 weeks!

Give them a few days then call again. Don't mean to worry you but I was told something very similar when I was about 10th weeks, I waited another week and called again and got a more helpful person who looked through all referral forms and couldn't find mine! Turns out midwife forgot to send it! Fortunately they were very helpful and my midwife faxed form, I called to confirm they'd received it and they made appointment while I was on the phone so I didn't have the stress of waiting to get the letter to know my date.

10th weeks?! Stupid phone. I obviously mean 10. Good luck!

Thanks, I spoke to a receptionist and she asked me for my hospital number, name and confirmed that it's being in progress and I should expect it soon. But you are right if i don't receive it by Friday I'll give them another call just to make sure that won't miss it and put my mind at peace .
