what is this itch

I've always suffered on and off but seems more often in pregnancy.
I have a vaginal itch but don't seem to have the normal thrush discharged. It just seems different to when I know I've had thrush not as thick its clear or sometimes white with a slight yellow tinge and can be quite a lot. The itch is mainly in the evening as well. Oh also it doesn't seem to smell at all. Caneston cream doesn't help and almost seems to irritate more.

Whatever it is its probably worth a quick trip to your GP to get it checked. Your hormone balance changes in pregnancy which can make things itchy. You COULD be leaking fluid or it could be something entirely ignorable. I'd want to get it checked though just for reassurace. If canestan not helping its almost certainly not thrush.

If you have some sudocreme try smearing a bit of that on as it seems to be a cure all for many unexplained itches - you can always wash it off again if it aggrevates it or does not help
