to spot on the mini-pill and be pg at the same time???

In the last few weeks my appetite has hugely increased, my belly is much rounder (probably linked to last symptom) and uncomfortable to lie on my front at night. I'm also very emotional, swinging from raging anger to crying at Sister Act wtf!

Could this be a side effect of cerazette which I've been on 4 months, no other side effects except spotting or pg??? I think I'm stressing over the pg aspect because it would be the worst thing possible at this point. I have taking the pill correctly every day too, no missed ones or sickness, abs etc...

The only way to find out is to do a pregnancy test.

The sooner you know, the sooner you can decide what to do next. If you leave it, you might find the decision has been taken out of your hands.

TheJoyfulPuddleJumper - was the spotting continuous though? I've been bleeding for 3 months and that hasn't really changed.

These symptoms are nothing like my other pg ones either, they first ones were nausea and heightened sense of smell. Is that relevant?

Hi, you should talk to your GP/nurse regarding your symptoms.

I was on cerazette for a about a year or so, I was told you can go either way regarding your periods - I didn't have any but other people can bleed/spot non stop.

I went to talk to my nurse regarding my eating habits as I was constantly eating and she asked me a few other questions (about my moods) - I was like you - moody, angry and tearful, I was also really down (also thought about how everyone's lives would be better off without me around). She said that these were all side effects of cerazette!!

I changed my pill and felt loads better!

Hope this helps but aybe you should do a pregnancy test anyway just so you can rule it out .

Thanks MB34, I had thought about pill symptoms they just came on so quickly. Definitely need to talk about contraception again.
