I'm only 5 + 3 weeks pregnant but already clothes are tight esp tops. I had been trying to lose weight as I'm 1.5 stones overweight, and a stone heavier than I was after having DD2. No maternity clothes leftover as this is unplanned and unexpected. What is a good capsule wardrobe for Pregnancy?

I got some stretchy tops from Primark, some really nice maternity leggings from H&M and a few tunic dresses from new look and eBay. A denim skirt and wrap dress from Jojomamanbebe, jeansvfrom Pumpkin Patch. Big cardy from by Jojomamam but from eBay and a couple of pairs of work trousers. Work shirt.

Congratulations! I'm about 5weeks too. This will be our 3rd dc and already my jeans are too tight Confused I have switched to leggings and loose tops that I already have (non maternity) to hopefuly put off buying any maternity clothes for a while!

I'm 5.4 weeks and in maternity jeans already. I haven't bought maternity tops but am buying smock type stuff and long stuff with ruching that gives extra belly space.

Thanks folks, think I'll ask for vouchers for my birthday. No point getting my usual size 14 (tops), size 16 (bottoms), some mat clothes & bras with birthday money :)

Birthday money! Pah! Maternity clothes should be a joint expense!

BikeRunSki - I don't think DH will look good in a pretty wrap top and slim leg mat jeans :o
