I was just wondering what is normal hcg levels, I am 4 weeks after 2 mc's and had my hcg levels tested yesterday (4+4) and they were only 118 :( this seems low to me, although the dr didnt seem worried she said it could just be that I am not as pregnant as I thought and could have ovulated later. I have to go back tomorrow for more blood tests to see if the levels are rising but Im really scared of it going wrong again. has anyone else had low hcg levels and had a healthy pregnancy. Thanks for reading x

a stand alone Hcg doesn't tell you much, its how they change that tells you what's going on

mine were in the 200s at 4 weeks and in the thousands at 5 weeks (and had a HB at 7wk scan). It only sounds low because most people don't have them at 4 weeks IYKWIM so therefore most people's first ones are higher

good luck x

You might want to have a look at this website. Sorry, I don't know how to post a link. Seems like your levels are normal but as the others say, it's more dependent on the rate at which they rise. Goodluck!

Thanks, I know what you mean, its quite early to have them checked and I have never had them checked before with my ds or my 2 mc's so I'm not sure what is normal level for me. I have been looking on the internet and most are 200's/300's for 4 weeks, so just hope this is the actual level and it is rising not dipping, and maybe I am only 3/4 weeks rather that 4+5 calculating the dates from my last period. I will know more tomorrow just wanted to see if anyone else has had similar experience. x
