Aqua aerobics

I am trying to be a bit more active during this pregnancy as I don't want to gain an excessive amount of weight for health reasons. I have saw some aqua aerobics classes at my local pool and thought this would be ideal as the water will help support the bump!
Any others tried this during pregnancy?

I have been doing regular aqua and aquanatal classes since I was 15 weeks, before that I did all my normal classes. I personally love it all though I do miss my high intensity combat and pump!

I am now 38+2 and get more puffed but love going as it gives me a feeling of lightness! Speak to your mw as there might be a special prego aqua class in your area, this is also good for meeting other pregos!

I have actually just found out that they do an aqua natal class at the same pool. I'm taking myself along and I'll be 15 weeks by then also. Looking forward to it :-)

I've been doing the occasional aqua zumba class when I don't feel up to my usual classes and it's been great, go for it! The only ones for preggos near me are during the day, sadly, so I can't go to those but the normal one has been totally fine.

Ooh I fancy aqua zumba! Don't think they do it here though. I was thinking the pregnancy classes might be a bit too easy! Ha famous last words

Done aqua aerobics and LOVED it since about 15 weeks- has been my life-line in spd hell, really enjoyable and de-stressing do it!

I did aqua aerobics when I could until the day before I went into labour, highly recommend giving it a go, lovely being in the water once you get big as well :)
