Newbie - just pregnant!

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new here. Found out on Sunday that I'm pregnant for the first time! Very excited and of course can't tell anyone yet (obviously other than Hubby) so I thought I'd join here and share my excitement.

Got an appointment with the doctor on Monday and can't wait to get things started. By my calculations I am 5 weeks today and so should be due around mid February 2013. How exciting!

Anyway, a big 'HI' to you all and I look forward to chatting with you over the coming months!

Hello. I'm nearly 8 weeks pregnant with first child. Had a scan today and saw our little blob and it's flickering heart beat. AMAZING! Unfortunately feeling as sick as a dog but I guess it's s good sign. Hoping to chat with ladies in a similar situation. I'm due 24.01.13.

Thanks for the messages everyone. I think I'm going to like this site!

I don't feel sick yet Becks, (not looking forward to that bit) but do feel like I'm starting to show already which is stressing me out a bit already. Also feel really full after not eating a great deal (which is unusual for me!).

Can't wait to have first scan, must feel so surreal.

Hi mrs It was surreal but certainly makes it feel more real. We got an early scan as we were under the fertility clinic. We didn't have any treatment in the end managed to do it on our own. Got my first midwife appointment next week. Have you been to the doctors yet?

Nope, not been to doctors yet but have our first appointment on Monday which is pretty exciting. Just wish we could tell people. The next 7 weeks are going to go soooo slowly!

Hi guys, how's everyone feeling? Been off work today with awful sickness. Still trying to smile through it! Got my midwife appointment tomorrow afternoon so looking forward to that. Also found out a girl at work is pregnant too so I'll have a bump buddy at work.

Congratulations xxxxx Im nealy 8 weeks due 11th Feb 2013, 1st baby so excited xxx also feeling yuk very nauseous, and tired but am currently tucking into some hula hoops which taste greatmaybe these are the cure.
