Anyone else been sick with uti?

I have a uti but waiting on antibiotics from the docs, have some at home so have taken 2 today,
I've felt awful today (back bad, stomach pains) and now I've been sick twice its pretty much bile and watery and very acidy, Is this normal?

Hi, yes it is possible to be sick with a UTI. I had a UTI after the birth of my first daughter and was being really sick. I thought I had a bug and didn't realise I had a UTI. My doctor tested for a UTI and found it was the cause of my sickness. It improved once the antibiotics kicked in.

I was admitted to hospital a couple of weeks ago with uncontrollable vomiting (40 times over a 12 hour period) and the conclusion was probably uti causing it.
So yes, it can happen.

I was admitted to hospital with a UTI which had spread to my kidneys, I was vomitting and feverish and pretty unwell. Was kept in for 4 days and given IV antibiotics and paracetamol. If it continues please contact your doctor or anti natal team, as sometimes it is better to treat with IV than tablets as it gets working much quicker.
