Fed up, tearful and hormoanal!!
I'm 30 weeks and already have 2 ds's aged 5 and 19 months, went to the midwife this week who said I had a uti which is really hurting as I havent been given antibiotics yet as it has to go through the doctor, had bloods done to and she couldnt get anything out of one arm resulting in 2 painfully bruised arms!, baby head down and very active so is putting the pressure on 'down there' constantly, I've spent the last 3 days not sleeping, cant walk properly and have mega back ache! - It's like everything is going wrong or hurting!
DH is going away tomorrow and I wont see him till monday night he's working abroad so everytime I think of it I cry Blush All I can see is a crappy few days ahead of no sleep, no help and constant work!
HELP!!

Can anyone come over and help out while he's away?

Can't really help with the other stuff but if someone could look after DCs while you relax a little it sounds like it would help?

Your not alone! I'm 31 weeks today and have had varicose veins all the way up one leg and into groin area since 20 weeks, and to top it off a painful external pile had appeared last week,oh the glamour of it all! Grin

I also have two dc like you, I think by this point my bodys just knackered and I've not even given birth yet!

I think the 30 week mark can be a tough time because you are already huge and worn out but there still seems such a long way to go.

It's good to be able to vent on Mn though who else could I talk to about this stuff?! My advice is just rest as much as is possible, its the home stretch now right?

MyMelody · 13/06/2012 09:37

Oh and I think you should have a few dvd nights on the sofa with the dc, a big duvet and snacks! :-)

Me to hello everyone ! 33 weeks here ! Not slept for 4 nights in a row have a 6and 4 yr old still working and got a banging headache! Just been told I have to continue my diploma
Through maternity leave and I'm totally stressed out I'm nearly crying right now I jus want to scream and stamp my feet!

vanimal · 13/06/2012 09:49

Me too! 30 weeks pg, and I have a 2yo and 4yo. DH works till late, plus most weekends, and we are moving house this weekend.

I am huge, knackered, mega-backache and just feeling down.

Our new house is lovely but I won't be able to lug things around + get it properly sorted without DH, or mow the jungle lawn so DDs can play. It all just feels like top much :(

The3Bears · 13/06/2012 09:55

Have you got any family close by that could help you? I dont blame you for being fed up I think anyone would be with all that, I second what melody said aswell about having a dvd night with the kids and snacks, keeps the children happy and you get to rest :) Hope your feeling better soon, oh and just keep thinking your already 3/4 of the way through your pregnancy dont worry it will soon fly by.

miaboo · 13/06/2012 10:21

Thank you ladies, in the nicest possible way it's nice to know that I'm not alone! Just done my online shopping and ordered loads of chocolate and popcorn Shock Wink so we can have a dvd night and eat complete junk! Dam hormones have to be making this worse and the fact it's going to be fathers day to and he's not here makes it pants!
If I didnt feel so poo I could deal with this better, well I bloody hope I could otherwise I've turned into a right moaning minnie!

Crap when fathers day !? Shock

Thumbwitch · 13/06/2012 10:37

Isn't it this Sunday, Fathers' Day?

OP, I know how you feel - and I'm only 23w pg and have only got a 4.6yo. BUT I am also 44 and really feeling it this time around! DH is away tonight which isn't too bad and MIL does help out, which is great - but it's still hard work! And I have sciatica, sore back and am just knackered.

Hope you feel better soon and can get someone around to help out while he's away. x

Found out today that I'm anemic to! cue complete breakdown as we are due to go on holiday next week and you cant fly when your anemic :( the thought of having to cancel the family holiday made me feel sick!
Rang the doctors as I had just requested a fit to fly letter before I knew the results and he told me my hemaglobin levels were 9 and if there 8 or under then you cant fly so he can write my letter :) :) £26 for it but I'm so relieved I dont care!!, DH going in a few hours and I'm stupidly tearful every time I think about it, going to miss him and the help so much!!

Oh dear! Have you had it? You'll be fine if you've already had it, if not talk to midwife they can give you antivirals and baby should be fine past 20 weeks unless you give birth ( which you are a way off yet) . You could do without that though couldn't you, do you have family nearby to help out?

MyMelody · 15/06/2012 17:35

Btw you can get a calamine lotion cream to put on the spots (stays on better) and you can get an antihistamine like allerief from chemist if spots are very itchy. And you should all have a weekend of rest in front of the tv - you will get through this :)
