Hi, bit of a stab in the dark here! Far tmi so don't read while eating lunch!

I'm 5+1 first pregnancy, I woke up around 3am with intense cramping in the middle of my uterus like a sharp period pain, sometimes i orgasm in my sleep (blessing or curse?!) and woke up just after id had one, could this have cause the cramping?

It was enough to make me double over for nearly ten minutes, there was no blood bit I felt very sick and then had a bowel movement (a big one!)

I've had mild cramping in the middle and the usual lower back pain this morning, any thoughts appreciated ladies. I'm over analysing everything far too much but putting it down to first time nerves!

Pinkie
I am 6 weeks and every time me and my partner have sex (sorry if tmi) I have severe cramping after orgasm. I think its normal to be honest and I know its extremely painful, i find it helps if I walk round afterwards to ease of the cramping. x

Oh thanks Jess Smile I googled a little and seems quite common I think it was the shock of waking up and feeling like that which startled me

With my first pregnancy I got a lot of cramping after an orgasm and from about 20 weeks we'd see an angry hand or foot protest! ;)

Haha that's brilliant!! It happened a few days ago again but was less intense, I'm guessing it's to do with a rush of blood to the area

Had this too, pain was intense and I thought the worst was about to happen, but thankfully not. I too had orgasmo-dreams-a-plenty!

Tap it's so bizzare isn't it? I'd love to know how it happens!
