I have just had my 36 week MW appt & have been told that my bump has not grown since the 34 week appt! I have been referred for a growth scan & am now really panicing. I am still getting good fetal movement & the MW heard a striong heartbeat.
Has anyone else been told this & should I be worrying? Does this happen when the head has moved right down into the pelvis?

You mean fundal height hasn't changed or it even reduced?
Meh, I had that (no change from 32 to 35 weeks). It was my 4th pregnancy so I knew I was fine (baby active, etc.). Friends have had similar.
They'll do a detailed scan of placental function to make sure all is working well.
Don't worry, it's just a precaution.
4th baby turned out to be my biggest, nearly 9 lbs!

Thanks for the reassurance Adventures.

Yes the Fundal height hasn't changed since 2 weeks ago
You have put my mind at rest (a bit!) Hope all will be revealed in the scan next week.
Thanks again for your response

Did you get measured by another midwife this time? Once I had exactly the same happening and the midwife said if NEXT time I measure the same or less than I should she would refer me. Next time I had another midwife who measured me "normal"!
