Hello all, I'm far too early to be symptom spotting (36+1) but my DS arrived 2 weeks early so I'm clearly obsessing excited already and can't seem to help myself. So... as of today, my 'symptoms' are that a couple of mums at play group today think I've dropped, I feel like I have a football residing between my legs, I've had some rather loose poo (lol, TMI I know Grin) and most of all I really want this baby out, therefore am willing him to arrive!!

Anyone else wondering if every twinge/roll/tightening might be pre-labour signs? Or am I just hopelessly over enthusiastic and in need of a slap with a wet fish around the chops soothing cup of tea?

Totally with you, an 37+2 have dreadful back ache since mid afternoon and thought that baby had moved from being back to back so not sure if it's moved back or this is the start of things - I wish! This is dc2 and I'm shattered from running around after a toddler, need this baby out, would rather have sleepless nights and cracked nipples than current back pain!

So yes, am with you spotting symptoms!

Alligatorpie · 11/06/2012 21:48

With Every period pain or BH I have, I think, this must be it! I have stopped talking about, as I think I am jinxing myself!
I am 39+2.

I will join you, I am 38+4 desperately want to have my baby now. I have had a few contractions but they never come to anything. Now have backache. Really hoping baby makes an appearance soon. Midwife seemed hopeful but who knows!

shellywellybaby1 · 11/06/2012 22:16

Definitely with you ladies!! 38+2 had period pains. Painful tightenings and diarrhoea. Then nothing!! This just isnt fair!!! Lets hope its soon eh!!

JBurge · 11/06/2012 22:30

I had the same thing one night last week. Diarrhoea all night, nasuea, cramps, tighetnings, I was convinced that was it. But no.....still waiting.

J4D3 · 11/06/2012 23:02

Oooo can I join? I'm 37 wks tomorrow and hoping this baby comes early. Period type cramps and some savage BH but that's about it! Wishing everyone a short wait to meet their LOs Grin

chocoraisin · 12/06/2012 07:48

morning all! Still no baby :) lol. Does anyone else have morning sickness back though? I had this last time right at the end, something to do with hormonal changes pre-birth. But I think it might have been for a couple of weeks before DS arrived...

Back to bouncing on a big ball and keeping my fingers crossed I go Grin

Nothing yet Chocco. Only a terrible nights sleep and some pretty intense BHs last night. Moan.

monkeypuzzeltree · 12/06/2012 20:47

So blinking shattered! More BH and some rather painful low kicks but that all to report! Does anyone else dread going to bed, I'm tired but it's just turned into a place where I toss and turn, v frustrating. In fact am turning into v grumpy cow, which is ridiculous as have so much to look forward to.

DD AGED 2 brought me some pretend tea and cake this pm, saying poor mummy, very tired and offered to put me to bed with a story!! If only!

chocoraisin · 12/06/2012 20:51

lol @ monkey DS has only just gone to bed (nearly 2) and I'm shattered. I find bed really uncomfortable too, although sleeping with a v-pillow (old b/feeding one) seems to help.

So far today I have that really heavy twingy feeling down below, along with some rumbly backache but nothing more encouraging than that! He's def not properly engaged though because I can feel his feet stretched out all the way over on my right hand side sigh!!

Can I join too please? 37+4 with DC2, have 19mth old DS who seems to have hit terrible twos this week so am totally shattered and ready for this baby to arrive now! DS was born at 37wks by EMCS after failed induction so have no idea of what real labour feels like but slept really badly last night andhave terrible backache and cramps today and serious pressure in pelvis. Baby is breech and back to back and much bigger than my first though so pretty uncomfortable anyway and can't work out what is just my body getting tired of all this and what might actually be labour?!

chocoraisin · 12/06/2012 21:19

sounds promising Amos!

I know what you mean about the back ache is so painful, was Back to back last week and I think he's turned but just can't work it out. If this is the start it's going v slowly. Have just given in and taken paracetamol. I do feel a bit odd though - wishful Grin

chocoraisin · 13/06/2012 13:07

ok, can I just say OW?

baby has definitely 'dropped' - cue enormous ramp up in SPD pain. I actually feel a bit sick.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeease let this be a sign he's on his way and not the status quo for another month!!
