So, after a couple of days of really bad pain in my belly button, I rang the dr on Friday who advised me to go to a&e. Friday night at a&e meant it took aggggesss but the upshot is I have a small hernia. It's ok at the mo as it goes in rather than out but the dr has told me what to look out for in terms of it getting worse.
Anyway, the pain has actually settled down a lot over the last couple of days. Then this afternoon I had a knock on my flat door. It was the lady from above saying she had a massive leak and wanting to know if it'd come through. Looked in my son's room and water coming through the ceiling and down the walls :-( So I promptly move his furniture, toys etc away from the water then go upstairs to help until the plumber arrives (emptying buckets).
Now the pain in my belly button is back and really hurts. Have got none of the warning signs the dr said to look out for it just really hurts. Do you think I've made it worse? No way I can get to the drs til Wednesday so not a lot I can do. And does this mean I'm gonna have to be really careful all pregnancy? I'm a single parent and there isn't anyone around to help. How am I gonna do even simple things like carry heavy shopping?
Sorry - getting myself really worried now. I'm 16+3 btw xx
