As fellow expectant mums just wondered what hints and tips you've been given that you found useful. Where do you go to for help and advice other than Mumsnet?

The BEST tip by far I was given when pregnant with DC1 was for just after the birth. If you have a tear or cut, then take a jug of warm water to the bathroom with you and pour it over as you do a wee! Sounds strange but trust me it helps loads!

Tell people when things get too much/hard. I'm really bad for this, especially at work but have had to learn pretty quick that it something is too much or you need help you have to ask. I made myself quite ill at the start of preg coz I tried to keep going at normal pace without any help!

Dont deny yourself the benefits of a maternity pillow. My DP bought be one a few weeks ago and I've never slept better or more comfortable!
