1st pregnancy, bad stomach pains

Hi everybody,
im 6 weeks pregnant with my 1st :-).. Been having cramping stabbing pains on my left side around 1.5 inches under the bellybutton line for 2weeks now... Went to a+e had blood tests they said everything was ok. (no scan yet) last night i had the same pain but really bad and it started to shoot across my whole stomach... Why is this?? Is it normal im really scared.. Anyone else had this? And answers/comments welcome....

Hi, I think you should ask for a scan to rule out ectopic pregnancy. (this is rare so probably won't be but definitely worth checking for).

When did you go to A&E? if it was a while ago they probably thought it was too early to scan, but at 6 weeks they should be able to see the sac and whether it's in the right place or not.

Also (personal questions!) are you constipated? could it be trapped wind?
