Hey im 12 weeks 6 days pregnant just had my 12 week scan today and baby is fine but I did have a hemorrhage at 6 weeks which the lady said was still there today but is alot smaller. I'm very nervous about this pregnancy and don't want to wait till my 20 week scan to see if it has gone. I want reassurance from another scan. Want to ask if anyone knew the best place to get a private scan at 16 weeks but not to expensive in derby? I don't really want a 3d just normal scan will do xxx

My sister went for one in the nuffield in Derby, and she said they were lovely there.

We went to Window to the womb in Bamcote, Nottingham. Would recommend them.

Just make sure that wherever is doing your scan is doing it for a 'medical' reason. Rather than a gender scan or whatever. I only say this as not all sonographers have the same training and you need to make sure you book in somewhere that knows what they are looking at and who to refer you to if there is a problem. Private hosp prob ok, but is steer clear of the 'entertainment scan' places. I think most say on their literature that the scan is purely for entertainment purposes anyway. Wouldn't want you to waste your money.
