33w and antibiotics

Im 33 weeks today and have a chest infection.

Was prescribed 500mg amoxicillin 3x a day on Friday so heading into day 4 of the 5 day course and it feels like nothing is shifting, if anything is getting worse.

Does anyone know will they prescribe another course of abs (I'm aware the dose I'm on is double the "normal") or is there anything else they can give?

Am getting to the point when I have a serious coughing fit, I have no energy to actually cough.

I had exactly the same, was given another course, Dr was quite happy to prescribe more on the basis that you need to shift it so you can get some rest too which is important. Hope you feel better soon, is rubbish I know.
