Hiya everyone just looking for some help.

I am 15 weeks pregnant with DC2 and I was wondering if I should be concerned that my bump is not showing and dont think it will appear anytime soon. I had heard that with second pregnancies you normally show earlier than your first and the last time i was pregnant my bump was showing and was a decent size at 16 weeks so i thought i would have been showing by now. hopw someone can advise/help xx

Hardly even showedwith 3rd pregnancy until about 26 weeks - a bummer in terms of getting a seat on the train ...

Same here, Laura, I was thinking of posting as I'm paranoid about it too! 16 weeks with DC2 and no sign of a bump - I was in maternity clothes at this point with DD.

spoutlet i was in maternity clothes by around 13 weeks last time think thats why its causing some worry this time round i was also heavier last time and bump was cleary showing by this point :(

Pregnancy is an endless worry! Let's hope our bumps make an appearance soon Smile.

My bump hasn't arrived at 15 weeks either,.I'm positive I had an obvious one at this stage last time, at the moment I just look like I've been stuffing my face! Come on bumps! Make an appearance!

Hormonalhell · 12/06/2012 12:32

I'm the opposite! I'm only 8 weeks and look about 5 months!! People keep saying its twins n that worries me as I'm single mum. Guess we all made different

Don't bumps show earlier the second time around because your tummy muscles are weaker from having had a baby before?

Have you been working out a bit? Lifting a child is quite a strenuous activity, as is just looking after them, so it's possible you're fitter now than you were the first time around?

This is what I thought, Stacks, so have been anticipating an early bump. My tummy muscles definitely haven't recovered from having DD a year ago and I've always been an enthusiastic exercise dodger Grin. The only things that are different this time are that I'm BFing DD (just once or twice a day now) and I was nearly a stone lighter when I discovered I was pregnant with DC2 .

I'm 13 weeks and have no bump and no stomach muscles. They were cut through for surgery a few years ago and have never recovered. I guess I'll see how it looks in 2 weeks!
